AWS 200

AWS Solutions Architect Associate — SAA-C03 Exam Preparation

This three-day, instructor-led course prepares cloud engineers, developers, and IT professionals for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate (SAA-C03) exam.

Description

This three-day, instructor-led course prepares cloud engineers, developers, and IT professionals for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate (SAA-C03) exam. Participants design secure, resilient, high-performing, and cost-optimized architectures across all four exam domains: Design Secure Architectures (30%), Design Resilient Architectures (26%), Design High-Performing Architectures (24%), and Design Cost-Optimized Architectures (20%). Each module pairs focused instruction with hands-on labs where participants design and deploy real AWS architectures using their own sandbox accounts. Participants leave the course able to implement least-privilege IAM governance, design multi-tier VPCs, build scalable event-driven applications, architect highly available and disaster-resilient systems, select high-performing compute and database services, and optimize architecture costs — the core competencies tested on the SAA-C03 exam. NOTE: This course targets the SAA-C03 exam blueprint (current version). Participants who have previously studied for SAA-C02 should review the updated domain weightings and new task statements before the course.

Who This Course Is For

  • Cloud engineers and AWS practitioners preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate (SAA-C03) exam
  • Developers designing and deploying applications on AWS
  • IT professionals with infrastructure experience transitioning to cloud architecture roles
  • System administrators seeking formal validation of their AWS design skills
  • Professionals who have completed the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and are advancing to the associate tier

What You Will Learn

  • Design flexible IAM authorization models, federated identity configurations, and multi-account governance structures using AWS Organizations, SCPs, and IAM Identity Center.
  • Design multi-tier VPC architectures with tiered network segmentation, integrated threat protection services, and secure hybrid connectivity options.
  • Implement data security controls including encryption at rest and in transit, key management policies, and data governance services that meet compliance requirements.
  • Design event-driven, loosely coupled architectures using messaging services, API management, serverless compute, and container orchestration that scale independently.
  • Design highly available and fault-tolerant architectures using Multi-AZ deployments, load balancing, Auto Scaling, and disaster recovery strategies that meet defined RTO and RPO requirements.
  • Select high-performing compute, storage, and database services and configure caching layers to meet throughput, latency, and scalability requirements.
  • Design high-performing content delivery and DNS architectures and select appropriate data ingestion and transformation services for streaming, batch, and analytics workloads.
  • Design cost-optimized storage, compute, network, and database architectures; provision infrastructure with CloudFormation; and apply the Well-Architected Framework to evaluate design tradeoffs.
