Description

This hands-on advanced workshop takes marketing professionals who already use Microsoft Copilot daily and moves them from typing one prompt at a time to running a repeatable, governed marketing operation on it. Participants write and order reusable AI directives, build and ground a marketing agent that colleagues can run, automate recurring marketing workflows inside the boundaries a real enterprise tenant imposes, and produce validated analytics and reporting from marketing performance data — including data from platforms Copilot cannot see. The session assumes working Copilot fluency and skips AI fundamentals entirely. Every module ends in an artifact the participant keeps: a directive library, a working agent, an automation design, a validated report, and a rollout plan for applying all four across a portfolio of locations.

Who This Course Is For

  • Marketing managers, marketing operations leads, and brand managers who already use Microsoft Copilot regularly and want to move beyond ad hoc prompting
  • Multi-location and franchise marketing teams responsible for brand consistency and local relevance across stores, branches, clinics, dealerships, or franchised sites
  • Marketing professionals who own recurring deliverables — campaign briefs, local content, customer and review responses, email or announcement copy, recurring performance reports
  • Practitioners who are their marketing function's AI lead — formally or in practice — and are expected to make what they do repeatable for colleagues
  • Practitioners already comfortable with everyday Copilot use who are ready to build on that foundation rather than revisit it

What You Will Learn

  • Design, order, and maintain reusable AI directives that produce consistent, on-brand marketing output, and validate that output against a defined standard before it is published.
  • Build, ground, test, and share a marketing agent whose behavior is governed by structured instructions and scoped knowledge sources rather than by the person who happens to be prompting it.
  • Analyze recurring marketing workflows to determine what can safely be automated, and implement automation within the constraints imposed by licensing and tenant governance policy.
  • Produce and defend analytics and reporting from marketing performance data, including data that originates outside Microsoft 365, applying validation techniques that catch fabricated or unsupported figures before they reach stakeholders.
  • Convert a working individual practice into a documented, owned, and compliant repeatable process, and stage its rollout across a multi-location portfolio with measurable adoption checkpoints.

Prerequisites

  • An active Microsoft 365 Copilot license (the paid add-on, or Microsoft 365 E7 which includes it) — confirmed by client IT before the session
  • Regular working use of Microsoft Copilot: participants can already write a prompt, iterate on a response, and work in Copilot inside at least one Microsoft 365 app
  • Working familiarity with the marketing tools the participant's team actually runs on, so course exercises can be grounded in real workflows
  • One real, recurring marketing workflow the participant owns, brought to the session
  • No prior experience with agents, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio is required
  • No customer, patient, or member data is required — a synthetic multi-location marketing dataset is supplied, and participant-supplied data must be de-identified in advance

Delivery Options

  • Live, instructor-led
  • Virtual instructor-led
