Description

This hands-on advanced workshop moves a high-performing, cross-functional workforce beyond basic Gemini use into practical, real-world application of the full Google AI platform: structured analytical workflows, data analysis and formula generation in Google Sheets and with uploaded Excel files, autonomous multi-step research with Deep Research, knowledge synthesis with NotebookLM, workflow automation with Gems, and reusable Gem creation with instructions and knowledge bases. Participants apply Gemini to real data, real workflows, and real problems from their own roles throughout the day. The course targets mid-to-advanced AI users across technology/engineering, supply chain, operations, and support functions who are already comfortable with basic Gemini use and want to move beyond one-off Q&A into systematic, high-impact workflows.

Who This Course Is For

  • Mid-to-advanced AI users already comfortable with basic Gemini use
  • Cross-functional: technology/engineering, supply chain, operations, support
  • Highly technical, expert-level professionals (many PhDs)
  • Participants motivated by practical productivity gains in their specific roles

What You Will Learn

  • Apply Gemini to structured data analysis workflows — using Gemini in Google Sheets or direct file upload for Excel and CSV — producing validated, actionable insights from raw data, including in-spreadsheet formula generation and chart creation.
  • Conduct autonomous, multi-step research using Deep Research and synthesize knowledge from multiple uploaded sources using NotebookLM — producing comprehensive, evaluated research outputs for knowledge-work decisions.
  • Automate repetitive, language-heavy workflows using Gems with instructions and knowledge bases, reducing manual effort while maintaining quality through human review — including Scheduled Actions for time-based recurring workflows.
  • Build and deploy reusable Gems with defined roles, behavioral boundaries, and knowledge sources for domain-specific problems, tested against realistic and adversarial scenarios before team deployment.

Course Outline

  • Beyond Prompting — Gemini as an Analytical Partner
  • Data Analysis with Gemini
  • Deep Research and Knowledge Synthesis
  • Workflow Automation with Gems
  • Gems Creation — Build a Reusable AI Tool for Your Team
  • Putting It All Together — Integration and Next Steps

This is a high-level overview. For the complete syllabus with detailed topics and lab descriptions, request the full syllabus.

Prerequisites

  • Active Google AI Pro subscription ($19.99/month) — required for Deep Research, Gems, NotebookLM Plus, and 1M+ token context
  • Familiarity with basic prompt engineering concepts (prompt structure, context setting, iterating on outputs)
  • Comfort working with data in spreadsheet or CSV format (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel)
  • A real-world dataset or workflow from their own role (encouraged but not required)

Delivery Options

  • Live, instructor-led
