Leading Teams Using AI

Supervise AI-assisted work without losing sight of quality or capacity.

  • 4 hours, including breaks
  • Live, instructor led
  • In person or virtual

The decisions this course helps you make

When a team uses AI to draft its work, a manager still needs to know who checks it, what counts as acceptable, and whether there is enough time for review. This course addresses supervision of one approved AI-enabled workflow.

Use prepared workflow, policy, output, and operating records to assign human review, judge sample drafts, recommend an adjustment, and respond to a concern within your authority.

Who should attend

  • Team leaders and frontline managers whose teams use an approved AI tool in daily work.
  • Managers accountable for quality, review workload, and escalation of AI-assisted work.

Before the course

  • Completion of AI Judgment and Responsibility for Leaders (LF-20501).
  • Read the short case pack supplied before the course.
  • You do not need experience writing company AI policy. The exercises use prepared materials, so no live AI tool or vendor account is required.

What you will practice

  • Assign human review, staff preparation, and permissions within an approved workflow.
  • Judge sample AI outputs against supplied criteria and reference information.
  • Recommend a supervision adjustment using usage, accepted-work, review, and rework records.
  • Take permitted interim action and escalate a concern to the person authorized to decide what happens next.

Course outline

From the first judgment to a defensible decision

Supervising an Approved AI Workflow

Assign reviewers and preparation, compare review workload with available capacity, and justify decisions to accept, rework, or reject sample drafts.

Acting on Operational Evidence and Exceptions

Distinguish usage from accepted work, recommend one adjustment, and practice the approved exception and escalation process.

Practice and participant work

Participants study worked examples, practice with guidance, and produce their own supervision-plan sections, output annotations, and exception response. Individual responses are saved before peer discussion and reviewed against the supplied criteria.

Participant work: A supervision plan, judgments on sample outputs, and an explanation of how to escalate a concern.

Delivery and tailoring

Live instruction is available in person or virtually. Prepared case materials support the exercises, with explanations, discussion, and feedback. The curriculum does not depend on one technology provider.

Tailoring can incorporate your approved strategy, policies, role names, and reporting conventions after consultation. Discuss your audience, scheduling, and preparation needs with Learn Flourish.
